Key turns with resistance – check door leaf alignment
Difficulty turning the key is often caused by incorrect door leaf positioning, not a broken lock. Adjusting the leaf position can completely eliminate the problem without replacing the lock.
A sagging leaf damages the threshold and lock
The longer a sagging entry door is ignored, the greater the damage to the threshold and hardware. Replacing hinges at an early stage costs from 120 zł – delaying risks needing a full lock replacement.
Draught through a closed entry door
A draught through the entry door means a worn seal or insufficient leaf pressure. On-site adjustment or seal replacement, from 70 zł.

Entry doors in a new building may need adjustment after the first 1–2 years as the frame shifts slightly due to building settlement.
