Most window faults don't require full frame replacement. If the PVC, wooden or aluminium frame is undamaged, replacing just the faulty component is almost always enough. A new window costs 800–3,000 PLN. Hardware repair: 150–300 PLN. The maths is simple.
PVC window repair – most common faults
PVC windows are today's standard in Poland. After 10–15 years the peripheral hardware starts to wear out – the window is hard to close, draughts appear, the sash drops. This is normal wear, not a manufacturer defect.
We repair popular PVC systems: Rehau, Veka, Salamander, Aluplast, KBE. The technician arrives with parts compatible with these systems – the vast majority of repairs are completed in a single visit.
Most common PVC window repairs: hardware replacement, hinge adjustment, handle and anti-burglary lock replacement, glass unit replacement (misting between panes), and perimeter and centre gasket replacement.
Wooden window repair
Wooden windows need a different approach than PVC. Wood moves – it reacts to moisture and temperature. A window that closed loosely in summer may bind on its hinges in winter.
We repair wooden windows of all types: box windows, single-frame windows, and windows in period tenements. We seal, adjust, replace hardware and gaskets without disturbing the frame. With wooden windows, seasonal adjustment – spring and autumn – is especially important.
Aluminium window repair
Aluminium windows are more durable than PVC, but the hardware still wears out. Aluminium systems have different adjustment mechanisms that require specialist tools.

Seal replacement
Hardened, flattened perimeter and mid-pane seals are the leading cause of draughts. Replacement restores airtightness and warmth.
Window trickle vent repair
A damaged trickle vent can no longer regulate airflow. We repair or replace slot and pressure-controlled ventilators.
