Window squeaking with every opening and closing? In most cases lubricating the hinges and a quick adjustment is enough – one-visit job from 50 PLN.

Window squeaking comes from metal hinge or hardware components operating without adequate lubrication. Over time grease dries out, micro-friction develops and the characteristic squeak appears. In steel scissor hinges, micro-corrosion intensifies the problem.

Sometimes squeaking signals something deeper: a misaligned hinge not holding the sash parallel to the frame, or a worn seal rubbing against the profile.
