Aluplast Window Service

aluplast manufactures PVC profile systems rather than every finished window sold under a system name. Aluplast Polska began operations in Poznań in 1995. A finished window built with Aluplast profiles can be made by different fabricators and fitted with different hardware, so service requires identification of both the profile series and the actual window construction.

We service windows built with popular Aluplast IDEAL systems including 4000, 5000, 7000 and 8000. We do not assume one hardware manufacturer, gasket material or identical configuration for every window; the installed components are checked on the actual construction.

We provide this service as an independent window-repair company. We identify the profile system, finished-window manufacturer and installed components to the extent needed to select a safe repair scope and compatible parts.

IDEAL 4000, 5000, 7000 and 8000 – key differences

• IDEAL 4000 – a family with installation depth depending on variant and five- or six-chamber constructions.
• IDEAL 5000 – a five-chamber, 70 mm system with a centre-seal arrangement.
• IDEAL 7000 – a six-chamber, 85 mm system intended for energy-efficient window constructions.
• IDEAL 8000 – a six-chamber, 85 mm centre-seal system offered for energy-efficient and passive-house applications.

The series have different specifications and intended applications. Finished-window performance also depends on the profile variant, reinforcement, glazing, hardware and fabrication.

Which symptoms justify Aluplast window diagnostics?

• the sash rubs, drops or does not close correctly;
• the handle becomes stiff, jams or does not operate the mechanism correctly;
• air movement is noticeable around a closed window;
• a gasket is cracked, permanently deformed or displaced;
• the insulated glass unit is damaged or persistently misted between panes;
• hardware has looseness, visible damage or abnormal operation.

These symptoms do not identify one specific repair. A draught can result from the gasket, compression, sash geometry or another leakage path.

What can Aluplast window service include?

Profile-system and hardware identification

We check whether the window is actually built with an Aluplast IDEAL system and identify the variant and hardware selected by the finished-window manufacturer. Aluplast supplies profile systems, while the final construction can vary.

Aluplast window adjustment

Adjustment can include sash position, hinges, compression and cooperating hardware within the range provided by the installed hardware system. Window adjustment starts from 50 PLN.

Hardware and handle repair or replacement

Parts are selected after identifying the actual hardware manufacturer and model. We do not claim that all Aluplast windows use Roto or Winkhaus; the hardware manufacturer and part variant are confirmed after identification.

Gasket replacement

We replace a gasket when its actual condition and contact justify replacement. We do not assume one gasket material or one replacement interval for every IDEAL system.

Insulated glass replacement

Persistent misting between panes indicates loss of seal in the insulated glass unit. If the frame and sash remain suitable, the glazing unit can be replaced without replacing the entire window.

How can you safely check an Aluplast window?

• Sash – check whether it opens and closes without rubbing or excessive force.
• Handle – do not force it; jamming does not automatically mean misaligned hardware.
• Gaskets – look for cracking, permanent deformation or displacement.
• Glazing – distinguish moisture on the glass surface from persistent misting between panes.

The common “paper test” can show a difference in resistance at one point, but it cannot determine whether the cause is the gasket, compression, sash geometry or another component.

Can an older Aluplast window always be repaired?

Repair is often possible, but it cannot be guaranteed from brand or age alone. The condition of the frame and profile, the fault, installed hardware and compatible-parts availability all matter.

Do we service doors built with Aluplast systems?

We service only supported PVC balcony and patio doors within our normal door scope. We do not service entrance doors or HST / lift-and-slide systems. A profile-system brand does not mean we service every door construction made with that system.
