Aluprof is a Polish manufacturer of aluminium systems for windows, doors, façades and other constructions. Different system families have different purposes and constructions, so the Aluprof brand name alone is not enough to select a service part.

This service covers Aluprof aluminium windows and the balcony and patio constructions within our supported scope. We do not service entrance doors, façades or HST / lift-and-slide systems.

Which Aluprof systems can be used for windows?

Aluprof offers, among others, thermally insulated window-and-door systems from the MB-70, MB-86 / MB-86N and MB-104 Passive families, as well as non-thermally-insulated systems such as MB-45. Each has its own profile geometry, gasket arrangement and hardware configuration.

MB-118EI belongs to a different category: it is an EI120 fire-rated wall-partition system, so it is not treated as a typical window family in standard window servicing.

Which symptoms justify diagnostics?

• the sash rubs, drops or does not close correctly;
• the handle or hardware works with obvious resistance;
• a hinge, striker or another component has visible damage or excessive play;
• a gasket is cracked, permanently deformed or displaced from its intended position;
• the insulated glass unit is damaged or persistently misted between panes.

A symptom is not a diagnosis. Draughts, a stiff handle or closing problems can have several causes, so the specific construction is checked first.

What can Aluprof aluminium window repair include?

System identification

We check the markings, profile construction and installed hardware. MB-70, MB-86 / MB-86N and MB-104 Passive differ in construction, so parts and gaskets must match the specific variant.

Aluprof MB-70 adjustment and adjustment of other window systems

Adjustment can include sash position, hinges, compression and cooperating hardware within the range provided by the specific construction. Window adjustment starts from 50 PLN.

Gasket replacement

We replace a gasket when its condition or contact actually requires it. Its profile is selected for the specific system, sealing position and identified construction. Availability of the appropriate variant is confirmed after the window has been identified.

Hardware and handle repair or replacement

If the fault concerns a replaceable component, we identify the installed hardware and select a part appropriate to the recognised system and availability. Aluprof windows can use different hardware systems and variants.

Insulated glass replacement

If the problem is confined to the glazing unit and the frame and sash remain suitable for use, the insulated glass unit can be replaced without replacing the whole window.

MB-45, MB-70, MB-86N and MB-104 Passive – key differences

• MB-45 – a system without a thermal break, intended for constructions that do not require thermal insulation.
• MB-70 – a window-and-door system with a thermal break.
• MB-86 / MB-86N – thermally insulated window-and-door systems with multiple variants and configuration options.
• MB-104 Passive – a very highly insulated system designed for applications including passive construction.

These systems have different applications and performance characteristics. The properties of a specific window depend on factors including the system variant, glazing, dimensions and complete construction.

When is Aluprof window repair worth considering?

We do not set one service interval based on window age. Service is appropriate when the window operates incorrectly, a component is damaged, a gasket no longer makes proper contact or inspection identifies the need for adjustment or repair. Age alone does not determine the scope.

How can you safely assess an Aluprof window?

• Closing – check whether the sash moves without rubbing and whether the handle requires excessive force.
• Profile – inspect visible sections for deformation or mechanical damage.
• Gaskets – look for cracks, permanent deformation or displacement.
• Hardware – do not dismantle load-bearing or locking components; arrange diagnostics if you notice resistance, looseness or jamming.
