Door Repair

Door repair starts by identifying the actual cause of the problem. Handle resistance, rubbing, difficulty closing or incorrect locking can result from settings, wear or a failed component. We therefore begin with free diagnostics and determine the correct service scope before paid work starts.

We start with general door diagnostics to determine the appropriate repair route. Constructions with a dedicated specialist scope are routed to the appropriate service. We do not service HST systems, external entrance doors or typical internal doors.

When is the issue adjustment, and when is it repair?

If components are serviceable and the cause is their setting, the correct route may be door adjustment within the range provided by the system. If diagnostics identifies wear, breakage or a component that is not operating correctly, the issue moves into repair or parts replacement.

We do not replace components unnecessarily. We identify the cause first, explain the solution and price, and begin paid work only after approval.

What can general door repair include?

Depending on the identified system and fault, we inspect the components responsible for correct door operation, including hinges, handles, hardware, locking mechanisms and related parts. If replacement is required, we use a new, original part suitable for the identified system when available.

If a worn or damaged gasket is the cause, the correct route may be gasket replacement. If the problem lies beyond the ordinary setting range, diagnostics may also indicate geometry restoration.

Balcony doors – dedicated repair scope

For conventional balcony doors, the detailed repair scope, common faults and components are covered by our dedicated balcony door repair service. If components are serviceable and only settings need correction, the correct route is balcony door adjustment.

PSK sliding systems – dedicated service scope

What is outside our service scope?

• HST systems;
• external entrance doors requiring locksmith or security-system work;
• typical internal doors;
• emergency opening, key cutting and lock-cylinder services.

Repairability depends on the specific construction, installed hardware, component condition and availability of the correct part. We identify the system before confirming the repair scope.

• We carry out the repair – after your approval we complete the work, most often during the same visit.
• You verify the result – we test the outcome together. You receive a service report, a warranty on the work performed, and the manufacturer's warranty on original parts.
