REHAU Window Repair

REHAU manufactures profile systems and solutions for windows and doors. The current REHAU Poland window range includes systems such as ARTEVO, SYNEGO, BRILLANT-DESIGN and EURO-DESIGN 70, while older installations can also include other systems such as GENEO. Finished windows can be fabricated by different manufacturers and fitted with different hardware, so the REHAU name alone is not enough to select a replacement part.

We service selected windows built with REHAU systems for adjustment, hardware or handle repair, gasket replacement and insulated-glass replacement. We do not service entrance doors or HST / lift-and-slide systems. PVC balcony and patio doors are serviced only when their construction falls within our normal supported scope.

We provide this service as an independent window-repair company, not as an authorised REHAU service centre. Before selecting parts, we identify the exact profile system, the finished-window fabricator, the installed hardware and other components relevant to the repair.

ARTEVO, SYNEGO, GENEO and EURO-DESIGN – why the system matters

The systems differ in profile construction and sealing concepts. SYNEGO, for example, uses an 80 mm construction depth with 7 chambers in the frame and 6 in the sash; EURO-DESIGN 70 uses a 70 mm, five-chamber construction. GENEO belongs to the family of solutions using the RAU-FIPRO composite, while the newer ARTEVO uses the next-generation RAU-FIPRO X material. These differences help narrow down profile, gasket and glazing identification, but they do not replace checking the hardware and components actually installed.

We do not assume one hardware manufacturer or model across all REHAU windows. The actual hardware system is identified on the specific window.

The REHAU name on the profile does not automatically identify the hardware

The REHAU name helps identify the profile-system family, but it is not enough to identify the mechanism fitted to the finished window. Windows made with REHAU profiles are fabricated by window manufacturers, and hardware configuration can vary by fabricator, model, production period and market. REHAU also offers hardware solutions within parts of its product programmes, so during service we do not assume either “REHAU hardware” or a particular third-party brand without checking the components on the window.

In practice, hardware markings, sash geometry and the way the components interact matter more for parts selection than the profile-system name alone. This allows us to identify the REHAU system and the actual cause first, then select the appropriate adjustment or repair.

Which symptoms justify REHAU window diagnostics?

• the sash rubs, drops or does not close correctly;
• the handle jams or works with obvious resistance;
• air movement is noticeable around a closed window;
• a gasket is cracked, permanently deformed or displaced;
• the insulated glass unit is damaged or persistently misted between panes;
• hardware has looseness, damage or abnormal operation.

A symptom is not a diagnosis. Draughts can result from the gasket, compression, sash geometry or another leakage path, while handle resistance does not prove a specific mechanism fault.

What can REHAU window service include?

System and hardware identification

We check the profile system, sash geometry, gaskets, glazing unit and the actual installed hardware.

REHAU window adjustment

Adjustment can include sash position, hinges, compression and cooperating hardware according to the actual construction. Window adjustment starts from 50 PLN.

Hardware repair or replacement

If diagnostics confirms a failed component, we select a part compatible with the identified hardware system and current availability. We do not promise a particular parts source in advance.

REHAU gasket replacement

We replace gaskets when their condition or contact justifies replacement. We do not set replacement timing from window age alone or apply one rule across all REHAU systems.

REHAU insulated-glass replacement

Persistent misting between panes indicates loss of seal in the insulated glass unit. If the frame and sash remain suitable, the glazing unit can be replaced without replacing the whole window.

What can you check safely yourself?

• Sash – check whether it moves without rubbing or excessive force.
• Handle – do not force it through resistance; jamming can have several causes.
• Gaskets – look for cracking, permanent deformation or displacement.
• Glazing – distinguish surface condensation from persistent misting sealed between panes.

The common paper test can show a difference in resistance at one point, but it cannot identify whether the cause is the gasket, compression, sash geometry or another component.

Does service extend window life by a fixed number of years?

We do not claim a fixed extension. Proper maintenance and repair can help keep a window operating correctly, but actual service life depends on construction, installation, load, use and component condition.
